Taught in German. All language subjects are also taught in the respective language; almost all English courses are taught in English. The degree programme in primary education, or 'L1' as it is known, prepares students to teach Years 1-4 at German Grundschulen. Graduates get a teaching certificate for Years 1-6 in their particular teaching subjects.
Taught in German. The course of studies Teaching Qualification for Primary Eduaction with the subject "Islamic Religion” trains prospective teachers for teaching at primary schools (classes 1-4); in the subjects the qualification for teaching classes 1-6 can be acquired.

The course of studies for the Lehramt L3 (the teaching qualification for grammar schools) prepares students for teaching secondary school years 5-13 in grammar schools and also for middle schools and secondary modern schools as well as for teaching general education classes in vocational schools.
