The workshop covers the basic practical, technical and didactical aspects of using Virtual Reality in university teaching. Participants will have the opportunity to experience and try out Virtual Reality for themselves. In addition, they will learn about didactically useful application scenarios and discuss perspectives, challenges and potential application scenarios for their own teaching concept.

 

Learing Goals

 After the workshop you will be able to

• to explain Virtual Reality and its technological aspects, to name didactically meaningful application scenarios and to be able to differentiate between different technologies.
• to name and apply the basic practical, technical and didactical requirements in the use of Virtual Reality in the university context.
• to assess and plan the didactically meaningful use of Virtual Reality for your own teaching concept.
