Current seminar offers
In the winter semester 2020/21, the Chair of Economics I will again offer a advanced seminar and proseminar on current issues in competition policy and regulation. The seminar is subtitled "Regulatory and Policy Challenge of the Transition to a Climate Neutral Economy".
The seminar is designed as an integrated proseminar and advanced seminar. As a basic requirement for participation, you should have completed the courses Competition Policy and Strategy in the Bachelor's program and the courses Regulatory Economics and/or Industrial Economics in the Master's program.
The topics will be assigned in a kick-off event on 06 November 2020 at 2 pm (location to be announced). On 11 December 2020 we will discuss the state of work in a poster session. The presentation of the works will take place in a block event on February 05 and 06, 2021 (subject to change!). The presentations will be supplemented by co-presentations. After the presentation there is the possibility to incorporate changes into the work. Participation in the kick-off event, the poster session and the presentations is obligatory. Unexcused absence at one of the obligatory dates leads to exclusion from the event.
The final grade consists of the seminar paper of 8 pages, the presentation and the co-presentation. Unexcused absence on one of the compulsory dates leads to exclusion from the event (evaluation with zero points).
