On 2nd and 3rd December 2019, the GGS section Norms and Change in Global Politics organizes the GGS Annual Conference entitled “Beyond Western Liberalism: Mapping Blind Spots in IR Norms Research”. The conference takes place in the JLU main building, room 315. As a special guest, Professor Jeffrey T. Checkel from the European University Institute is going to hold a keynote speech in the Senatssaal at the end of the first conference day. The conference is organized in cooperation with the Peace Research Institute Frankfurt (PRIF), the Institute for Peace Research and Security Policy at the University of Hamburg (IFSH), and the Institute of Political Science at the University of Duisburg-Essen. The conference is the launching event to a workshop series of the DVPW thematic group IR Norms Research.
