Virtual Courses offered as part of JLU's Virtual International Programme (VIP) in the upcoming Winter Semester

International students of JLU's partner universities are invited to join free online courses from their homes as part of JLU's Virtual International Programme (VIP) also at the Department of Political Science.

For the winter semester 2020/21, Justus Liebig University Giessen (JLU) is for the fist time inviting students from its international partner universities to an alternative stay abroad: The Virtual International Programme (VIP) enables exchange students to gain international experience at JLU as part of their studies at their home institutions. The new, internationally oriented online course programme offers around 60 courses from almost all of JLU's Faculties at both Bachelor and Master level and is aimed at students from all partner universities of JLU. The courses are part of the regular course offerings at JLU and are held in German or in a foreign language (English, French, Spanish).

The Department of Political Science offers four seminars as part of the Virtual International Programme between November 2020 and February 2021: Global Risks: Policies for Prevention, Management and Adaptation under Conditions of Uncertainty (Prof. Dr. Helmut Breitmeier), Feminist Theories of Inequality (Prof. Dr. Nikita Dhawan), Human Rights and its Critics (Prof. Dr. Nikita Dhawan) and Introduction to Germany`s Political and Social System (Niklas Ferch).
