Research groups

Educational Linguistics at the Justus Liebig University Giessen (JLU) comprises research and teaching activities which focus on the reciprocal relationship between linguistic concepts and models and the analysis of the processes involved in language acquisition and language pedagogy. The Departments of English, German, Romance, Slavic and Turkish studies as well as linguists and language acquisition researchers of all philologies have been cooperating successfully in the Research Network Educational Linguistics for several years.
