Research interests

Research interests

My previous research projects focused on agro-ecology, predator-prey interactions and the effect of agricultural management on spatial relationships between generalist predators, their potential prey and arable weeds. In this context, biological pest control is an essential ecosystem service that results from ecosystem functions of which people benefit. During my PhD project I am engaged in studying how ecosystem services can be assessed and modelled to address ecological concerns more holistic in landscape planning and nature conservation. Further, I am interested in different nature conservation projects (bird ringing, bats).
