Nutrition Education and Consumer Behaviour
The study group is working on influencing factors of eating behaviour, eating habits of different age groups (from child up to older people), nutrition education and carries out research projects and studies to these topics. One of the latest projects has been “Nutrition and health behaviour of Nuremberg primary school children”. Thereby the state of health and eating habits were analysed and evaluated. One of the main tasks was to analyse the influence of socioeconomic living conditions.
Nutrition and consumer behaviour, as well as nutrition education are interdisciplinary and can be investigated from the view of Nutritional Sciences, Psychology, Sociology and Medical Sciences.
