Every semester, the study deanery of the faculty 09 organises the application check days together with the Employment Agency Giessen. All information on this event will be announced via email after which registration will be possible in StudIP. Counselling will be also in English. Should the demand exceed the offered slots, students can directly ask for an individual appointment with the academic counsellor in the Employment Agency.

In case you are not able to keep your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can assign the slot to someone else. We highly recommend to do an internship during your study time and to calculate enough time for this. First hands-on experience is extremly valuable and a chance to get insight into different branches or companies. Additionally, you may discover your interests and plan your study schedule accordingly. If the internship meets certain requirements, it is possible to get it recognised as a module with 12 CP.
