Resilience describes the ability to cope with stress/crisis and the associated personal development. In this workshop, your first step is to focus on the advantages of a resilient lifestyle with the help of the seven resilience factors.  By determining your individual resilience profile, you become aware of the personal resources you can already rely on. In the second step, you sharpen your awareness of stress and its faces. You become familiar with models and procedures that can help you to best shape your current qualification phase. Aspects of prioritization and the setting of action/ result goals are relevant in this context. In order to improve your mental resilience, it is important that you recognize and rethink your own patterns of thought. Therefore, the examination of your inner attitude towards your doctorate will also be an important aspect of this workshop.

Learning Objectives:

After participating in the workshop, you can:

  • identify the 7 resilience factors and characteristics of stress.
  • name your personal resources.
  • set and prioritize action and outcome goals.
  • be more aware of your inner attitude towards your doctorate.
  • fall back on starting points for dealing with stress.

Methods used in the Workshop:

In addition to the short impulses of the trainer, the focus is on individual reflection. Group discussions and exchange in small groups help the individual to become aware of the own resilience profile and to create a personal catalogue of measures. The participants receive a script as a summary including tasks for their own reflection.
