In the framework of a cooperation between the project Network for Impactful Digital Teaching Skills (NIDIT) and the International Doctoral Program (IPP) "Literary and Cultural Studies", NIDIT lecturers Inês Gamelas and Richard Vargas (International Training Team) will host the workshop “Basic Didactic Principles and Teaching Methods” for IPP members.

This practical training is a preparatory teaching session for participants of the IPP workshop series. The aim is twofold. On the one hand, it puts forward the discussion of teaching methods and approaches as well as the implementation of interactive tools for teaching and learning processes that IPP participants can use on either digital or face-to-face teaching environments. On the other hand, this workshop seeks to broaden participants’ teaching skills to better prepare them to face potential challenges when teaching in different formats.

Speakers: Inês Gamelas and Richard Vargas (JLU - Network for Impactful Digital International Teaching Skills – NIDIT).

The IPP Workshop Series

It offers IPP members the opportunity to lead a workshop on current concepts and methods in the Study of culture. The aim of the series is to create an interactive discussion group for doctoral candidates and students. The topics can range from general introductions to various "schools" of literary and cultural theory to concepts, methods and topics of literary and cultural theory.
