AG Concepts and Functions of Space

Over the course of the spatial turn, the insight that space is produced by culture to the same extent that it is culturally productive has opened up new prospects within cultural studies.

The AG Concepts and Functions of Space aims to systematically address different concepts of space, their cultural and political implications and usefulness for members' research.

The AG has been reconceptualized since a comprehensive turnover of membership during WS 09/10. The initial plan is for a regular reading circle.
