The first place of the
Dr. Herbert Stolzenberg Prize for outstanding Achievements in Teaching
was awarded to
Laura Borcher
t last year. The BA seminar "Introduction to Cultural Investigations of Law, Gender, and Sexuality" submitted by Laura Borchert took place at the Institute of English Studies and focused on legal cases from a cultural studies perspective. The seminar concept was also designed to address students at an advanced stage of the Covid 19 pandemic in online events and to motivate them to research
independently and
learn together. Laura Borchert reflects on how this was achieved in a seminar with 55 students in the Teaching Centre's 25th "Teaching Idea".
We congratulate Laura and present the
Teaching Idea

Save the date! On October 6, 2022, the Teaching Futures Day will take place!
NIDIT organizes the first Teaching Futures Day, a
hybrid workshop and networking event
around the topic of
digitization in higher education teaching
- also on an international level.
- What are the opportunities, possibilities and potentials for higher education institutions?
- Can digitization processes make university teaching fairer, more open, more powerful and more international?
- How can we implement this and contribute to it?
- What empirical values have we gained and how can we make these usable for the future?
- What challenges are there to consider in digitization?
We want to provide answers, open up a space for discussion and provide new impulses for our own practice. If you want to stay informed about the program of our hybrid event, you can register
here
.

What is BBB?
( According to current knowledge, the WebEx and MS Teams systems offered centrally at JLU do not meet the data protection requirement. However, digital implementation of synchronous courses with over 250 participants will continue to be possible via WebEx.
You can also continue to accept invitations from other institutions for meetings, audits, etc., even if other systems are used. )
Where do I get help and information?
