International Agreements

It is critical to the success of petitions for funding of research visits abroad that the applicant is invited by a research institution which is suitable for his or her research project. When initiating contact with research institutions, it is advantageous if applications are based on already existing partnerships, cooperations or exchange programmes.

In the following, you will find information on different varieties of agreements between international universities and the JLU or the faculties of Social and Cultural Sciences, Economic Sciences and Law.

Partnerships

The JLU maintains long-term partnerships with international universities. JLU partnerships are transdisciplinary and are usually open to students and scientists of all faculties. For an overview of agreements, please click here.

Cooperation Agreements

Cooperation agreements are made on the faculty level. The cooperation between international universities and the faculties associated with the GGS can be seen in the table.

The respective cooperation officer will provide you with information on the possibilities of an exchange of students and scientists.

Here, you will find an overview of all existing cooperation agreements of the JLU’s faculties.

Exchange Programmes

Furthermore, the faculties affiliated with the GGS maintain a variety of exchange programmes with international partner universities. Mostly, they regulate the exchange between members of individual institutes. Please bear in mind that the exchange within Europe is organised via the ERASMUS partnerships.
