Content

Peer feedback is an important part of Assessment for Learning, which activates students and helps them to navigate their own work and learning in the right direction, to reflect and take a meta-perspective. By assessing another student's work, students develop a deeper understanding of working methods and the course and learning objectives. The online seminar gives an overview of peer feedback (methods, research background and areas of application) in teaching and discusses the purely practical aspects and possibilities, but also challenges.

Learning Targets

The participants...

  • get an overview of peer feedback as a method in teaching.
  • can explain to students why peer feedback is used as a method.
  • can formulate criteria / instructions for peer feedback.
  • can organise peer feedback in ILIAS.
  • can organise peer feedback with Office 365.
