Our partner universities

The Network was established in cooperation with Kazan’, Łódź, Almaty, Minsk, Kyiv and Cluj-Napoca. These universities have been partners of JLU in Eastern Europe for several years and, because of their specific research profile in the field of contact zones and conflict regions, they are especially suitable for cooperation under the theme of the Network. They belong to the leading universities in their respective countries and, through their regional location in the cultural contact zones, they offer innumerable possibilities for the development of the Network’s theme in research and teaching, as well as for its incorporation of interdisciplinary approaches.
