• The Willem C. Vis Moot is a great possibility for the participants to learn about the International Trade and Arbitration Law while working in these fields intensively. Both areas of law are of major importance for lawyers working on an international level and for the international and domestic economy. During the competition the JLU team will be prepared and supported by the coach and the professorship. • Because of the repeated situation of an oral speech during the competition, nearly all of the students develop a huge self-esteem for the oral part of the first state exam. Hence all skills learned during the moot can be used afterwards.
• During the moot the participants are able to socialize with different big international law firms. This oppurtunity is given at different events hosted by these law firms and at pre-moots which the team will attend. This unique occasions will give the students the chance to get to know lawyers from different law firms and to receive possible internships. Nearly every law firm is supporting the moot and using it as their source for young professionals.
