GenDB documentation

There are several variants of documentation available.

• A brief overview and a glimpse at the user interface:

  The paper is the most concise description of the overal package. The tour offers insight into the user interface.

• An in-depth understanding of the system, information on installing the system and a tutorial for writing programs with GenDB can be found here.

• For software developers the API documentation of all GenDB CORE modules is available upon request. You can also read the POD documentation of each module by using 'perldoc' on the corresponding Perl module.

   

  We have also prepared some short example programs.

• If you encounter errors or inconsistencies you are always welcome to improve the documentation or report a bug via our mailing list.

• We also maintain a list of frequently asked questions.
