From Li to Na – Alkali batteries with oxygen and sulfur cathodes (new review)

Lithium-oxygen and lithium-sulfur batteries attract major interest as potential energy storage devices since about 10 years. Recently, also the sodium counterparts are being studied, and some surprising differences are observed. In a recent review in Beilstein Journal of Nanotechnology, a JLU team reviews the most recent results and the state of the art in alkali-oxygen and alkali-sulfur cells.
