6th Winter School 2022
The next Winter School will take place on March 15–16, 2022. Due to the persistent COVID-19 pandemic and the new Omikron wave we are not able to perform the meeting in person. We will perform the Winter School online via “Cisco Webex”. The Meeting will open at 8 am and close 8 pm each day (there will be breaks, of course!).

What do I have to do before the Winter School starts?
- Sign up for the meeting via the online registrattion. The registration will close on March 11, 2022.
- To prevent problems with your presentations we would kindly ask you to send them at least 1 day before your talk to our scientific secretary Lars Rummel.
- The Winter School will take place via “Cisco Webex”. In order to ensure a smooth online meeting, we advise you to utilize the stand-alone Webex application. Otherwise you can still join via your web browser.
- A link to our Webex based Meeting will be send to each participant via e-mail. You will receive the link 1 days prior to the beginning of the meeting. All you need to do is to follow the link and open it with your browser or a stand-alone Webex application.
What do I have to do during the Winter School?
- You will find the schedule for the Winter School soon here.
- Each session consists of 3 speakers giving a 15 min talk about their current state of work. A chair-person will guide a 5 min discussion after each talk. After each session, a 30 min break will allow you to refresh and get into contact with our speakers. Therefore, the meeting consists of subgroups, which you can join for further discussions. The speakers of the last session are obliged to join a subgroup to be available for further questions.
- We encourage all participants to be active and ask questions. During a talk you can raise your hand digitally. After the presentation, the chair-person will call you by name to ask your question.
