Science Day at the Department of Medicine, Justus-Liebig-University Giessen
The annual Science Day held at the Justus-Liebig-University of Giessen has become a fixed date in the academic year of the Medical Faculty. This year, the 7th Science Day will take place on Friday, 22 November 2024. The event is aimed at all PhD students, undergraduates, research assistants and professors.

The Science Day encourages the exchange of scientific information, promotes interdisciplinarity and increases the visibility of medical research at JLU. All young scientists of the Faculty of Medicine are invited to present their research. Please submit your contributions in the form of a short abstract (maximum 250 words) by 26 August 2024 using the online form. Please indicate in the online form the first author or presenter, the co-authors with their respective institutional affiliations, as well as your research area (clinical/patient-oriented research or theoretical/basic research) and whether you would like to be considered for a poster or a lightning talk. Only one paper per first author can be submitted. If accepted, the first author agrees to present the paper at the Science Day. Papers can be submitted in English or German. Lightning talks must be prepared in PowerPoint in 16:9 format (images in high resolution), posters in DIN-A0 portrait format. Both lightning talks and poster presentations should not exceed 5 minutes. Poster presentations will take place in separate sessions. Submitted abstracts will be reviewed by a scientific committee prior to acceptance. |
