How to get to Gießen?

For driving directions, you can use the Openstreetmap.org or Google Map functions.

If you are not traveling by car please take a train. You can check for connections from "Frankfurt(M)Flughafen" to "Gießen" with the Deutsche Bahn. Please click "Fastest connections" AND "local transport" and check the "Important information in the connection details!" as there are major construction works going on at the track.
Trains take around 1h 20 min to 1h 45 min, including one train change, and run every 5 - 40 min. ICE trains are a little more expensive than local transport. Depending on the exact train you have to pay 17,40 € or 19,90 € (roughly the same in Dollar; one way; cheapest fare). You can book a ticket online in advance or buy one at a ticket machine on the platform or nearby.

At the moment it is still legally required to wear an FFP2 mask when using public transport in Germany.
