PD Dr. Voahanginirina Randriamboavonjy
 |
Position Head Clinical Research Institution Hessische Gesundheitsakademie Voahanginirina Randriamboavonjy is an assistant professor of molecular medicine at the Goethe University in Frankfurt and leads the department of clinical research at the HGA – Hessische Gesundheitsakademie. She is also the vice-president of the European Society for Clinical Investigation. After getting her MSc in Pharmacology at the University of Antananarivo Madagascar, she continued her PhD in Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology at the Louis Pasteur University of Strasbourg, France and completed her habilitation in molecular medicine in 2011 at the Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany. After over 20 years’ experience in basic and translational cardiovascular and metabolic diseases research and being a Group Leader at The Institute for Vascular Signalling, Voahanginirina Randriamboavonjy joined HGA in 2021 to teach and manage clinical research. |

Dr. Jochen Blom

Position Institution In the year 2006 Dr. Jochen Blom made his Diploma in Infromatics in the Natural Sciences in Bielefeld, Germany. After various research programs he went back to Bielefeld to do his PhD with the thesis "Comparative genomics on gene and single nucleotide level". Since 2013 he is a PostDoc at Justus Liebig University. |

Dr. Parameswari Govindarajan completed her doctoral degree at JLU in 2014 and spend 6 years as a Postdoc at Tubingen University. She then returned to Hesse to work at CSL Behring GmbH in Marburg to contribute to Recombinant Product Development. |

Dr. Pradeep Kudipudi

Position Company Dr. Kudipudi originates from India but obtained his master's and doctoral degree at Justus Liebig University. During his doctoral studies he also worked as a SAS Programmer for a company in India and gathered experience in clinical data handling. In 2019 he completed his degree and made a very quick transition to join Abbott GmbH. In his talk he will introduce us to the work of a Change Control specialist and also the hiring process at Abbott. |

Position Institution Dr. Magiera completed her doctoral degree in the area of landscape ecology in 2017. During her doctoral and also her postdoc studies at JLU she specialized in the area of Ecological Modelling using Geoinformation Systems (GIS). Today she is using these skills in her work as a regional planner. |

Andrea Schmidt graduated from JLU in 2007 and immediately started to work in Clinical Research. As Head of Clinical Operations for Alcedis GmbH she is today responsible for Project Management and Monitoring of clinical and non-interventional studies for indications such as Cardiology, Pulmonology, Rheumatology or Pain. |

Already before that date she was able to secure a position in the Institute for Medical Statistics. Since then she has been teaching and advising clinical researchers at JLU. She will not only enlighten us on her job profile but also tell us how she obtained one of those very rare permanent positions at a university. |
