The Peter and Traudel Engelhorn foundation awards outstanding junior researchers and PhD students with a two-year grant.
The Peter and Traudel Engelhorn foundation offers about 7 grant each year for different target groups. Grants are awarded to candidates (PostDocs max 2 years; PhD students max 3 years) from the life science Molecular-, Biology, Genetics, Proteomics, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Systemsbiology, Cellbiology, Microbiology, Bio-Med-Tec, Biotechnology).
Prerequisites:
- Diploma/Master, MD, PHD, in Natural Sciences, Pharmacy at high grades
- Age-Limit: < 34 years
- Embedded within a renowned research organisation in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland
The application has to include:
- Letter of Motivation (one page)
- Description of proposed project (ca. 5 pgs. plus literature)
- CV plus recent photograph
- Certificates (copies of Matriculation Certificate, Diploma; Master; PhD, MD etc.)
- Letters of recommendation by minimum two acknowledged peers
- Letter of acceptance by homing research organization
- Acceptance of the additional guidelines of Foundation
Deadline for application:
July 15th of the current year
Applications shall be written in German or English and send by surface post and in addition electronically by CD or e-mail attachment.
