What's going on at the GGL and the Justus Liebig University of Gießen?
- Presidents of the DFG and the DAAD are staffed by JLU representatives
- Prof. Dr. Katja Becker was elected as the new president of the German Research Foundation (DFG) and the president of the JLU, Prof. Dr. Joybrato Mukherjee, was elected as new president of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
- JLU and Rhön-Klinikum AG - "Digital Medicine, eHealth and Telemedicine"
- The Justus-Liebig-Universität Giessen, in cooperation with the Rhön-Klinikum AG, offers its medical students a new curriculum (SPC) "Digital Medicine, eHealth and Telemedicine".
- GGL Alumna Mahsa Rhabari - Award for Outstanding Dissertation
- Academic ceremony (30th November, 2018) of the Justus Liebig University of Gießen with prizes and awards for junior scientists.
- Welcome to our 32 new GGL Alumni!
- Congratulation to all our GGL Graduates and welcome as GGL Alumni! We wish them the best. Graduation Ceremony took place on 28th of November 2018.
- New funding for the Heart and Lung Research in Gießen
- The Excellence Cluster "Cardio-Pulmonary Institute" (CPI), for which almost 50 million Euros have been applied for, will be funded from January 1, 2019 for at least seven more years.
- Study "How parasites cause liver cancer" at JLU Giessen identifies signaling pathways for carcinogenesis
- GGL Alumna Anita Windhorst and GGL Member Karuna Irungbam are involved!
- Topping-out ceremony for the new building for lung and infection research at the JLU
