The International Giessen Graduate Centre for the Life Sciences (GGL) invites applicants for
Doctoral Programmes in the Life Sciences
The Doctoral Programmes consist of an experimental project combined with a three-year interdisciplinary graduate course curriculum leading to a dissertation. Each doctoral researcher will be supervised by two professors from different faculties and will benefit from our Doctoral Development Programme. Seminars and courses are conducted in English; German language courses are offered for international students. Depending on the project and own qualifications, students may receive a stipend and may be eligible to register for one of the doctoral degrees offered in Life Sciences at the Justus Liebig University Giessen (Ph.D., Dr. med., Dr. med. dent., Dr. biol. hom., Dr. med. vet., Dr. biol. anim., Dr. rer. nat., Dr. agr. or Dr. oec. troph).
Applicants may choose from one of our nine interdisciplinary research sections. A Master's degree or equivalent is required for admission.
