Workshop abstract
"The Dystopian Schumpeter Meeting Keynes: An Integrated Assessment Agent-Based Model”
The lecture will introduce the Dystopian Schumpeter Meeting Keynes (DSK) model. The DSK is the first agent-based integrated assessment model that can be employed to study the coupled climate and economic dynamics. The lecture will discuss the impact of different climate shocks and the likelihood to achieve the green transition. Finally, the model will be employed as a laboratory to study different ensembles of policies to trigger sustainable growth and stay below the +2 C target.
The workshop is part of the GENED network meeting (gened.de) and is primarily aimed at young researchers. Organizer is Professor Dr Peter Winker.
