In order to help learners understand the importance of archival materials in historical research, I am going to present some following contents:
1. Definition of archives/ characteristics of archival materials.
2. Definition of historian/ what characteristics should a historian have?
3. Definition of historical research/ characteristics of a historical research.
4. Estimating the roles of archival materials in historical research
5. Case study
6. Proposals
