11.02.2021 - International Day of Women and Girls in Science

Today, 11th of February, is the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. On this day we are reminded that full and equal participation in science, technology and innovation for women and girls is imperative for achieving gender equality and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

One of the core objectives of the SDG^nexus Network is to promote equal opportunities for men and women in science. Our excellent team of female scientists commemorates this day by raising awareness about the important role of women in science, the value of positive role models for future generations of scientists, and most importantly, that diversity and inclusiveness are crucial for transformative science.
