How are the scholarship holders selected?

An internal selection committee of the International Office decides on the awarding of the scholarships in a quality-controlled selection process.

Which criteria are considered in the selection process?

Submitting a formally correct and complete application wihtin the deadline
Conclusive and appropriate presentation of (academic!) motivation / selection of country and host institution
Academic achievements
Language skills, intercultural and linguistic preparation of stay (intercultural training, etc.)
Personal suitability / commitment
Sustainability aspects (transportation, on-site transportation, accommodation, etc).
