Leo Will teaches TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) at the English department of JLU. He has recently published the monograph “Authenticity in English language teaching” (2018) as his PhD thesis. Mr. Will is currently conducting phenomenological research into language teacher education across Europe. The study investigates EFL teachers’ memories of the university experience, with results standing to inform language teacher education at different degrees of granularity. Mr. Will is also working as a materials writer designing a book for English teachers in year 5 where they often deal with highly heterogeneous learner groups. He is furthermore an adjunct professor at Saint Mary’s University Halifax (Canada) and a consultant for LEO.org GmbH.
