Learning activism?!  - Knowledge production, education and action in social movement contexts

Am 17. Dezember 2018 setzte Aziz Choudry, Ph.D. (Associated Professor and Research Chair in Social Movement Learning and Knowledge Production, Faculty of Education, McGill University Montreal, Canada) die Vortragsreihe des interdisziplinären Forschungsverbundes "antidemokratische Haltungen - Herausforderungen in Bildung und Sozialisation" des Fachbereichs 03 im WS 2018/19 fort.

Choudry sprach zum Thema "Learning activism?! - Knowledge production, education and action in social movement contexts" und stellte dabei eine Verbindung zwischen Bildung und sozialen Bewegungen her. Er argumentierte, dass das im Kontext von Aktivismus und sozialen Bewegungen gewonnene Wissen die Grundlage für die Einordnung aktueller Entwicklungen in der Migrationspolitik sei.

Der Gastvortrag mit anschließender Diskussion fand um 18.00 Uhr im Margarete-Bieber-Saal (Ludwigstraße 34) statt.
