Composition of the Study Programme 2

Core Modules

  • Special biochemistry
  • Special human nutrition
  • Applied Nutritional Medicine
  • Practical course in nutrition physiology
  • Nutrition and Metabolism
  • Pathophysiology and Nutritional Medicine
  • Food Technology and Molecular Cuisine
  • Food Science

By choosing certain specialisation modules, the following specialisations shown in the Master's degree certificate can be acquired:

  • Nutritional Medicine
  • Food Science

 

Internship (Optional)

Module MP 196 "Professional Internship" can be chosen as a profile module in all Master's degree programmes of Department 09 (corresponds to 12 CPs). This gives students the opportunity to gain practical experience and establish contacts in potential professional fields.

 

Thesis

In the Master's thesis, students demonstrate that they can work independently on a concrete, delimited topic within a limited period of time.
