Behaviour in the libraries:
In order to maintain an atmosphere conducive to concentrated work, we ask for your thoughtfulness.
Please regard the following:
- Please avoid noise.
- Put your mobile phone on silent mode.
- Reading rooms and open access areas may not be entered with outer wear and bags. Please use the lockers.
- Food and drinks are not allowed in the reading rooms and open access areas. Water in closed bottles is permitted.
Use of the existent stock:
Information on a sought after title, its location and its lending status can be found in our Rechercheportal JUSTfind.
Current research literature as well as reference books, hand books and journals are predominantly shelved according to their subjects and freely accessible.
Books, journals and other media with the location "Magazin" (closed stacks) can be ordered from there for loan or for perusal in the library rooms.
Particularly valuable literature can only be consulted in the special collections reading room (German).
Your stay in the University Library:
The cUBar offers different food and drinks and invites its visitors to take a break.
