14th International Conference on Computing in Economics and Finance

CALL FOR PAPERS
The conference will cover all areas dealing with the computational aspects of economics, finance, and decision making. The areas include (a) the development of computational techniques applied to economics, (b) the development of computational environments, and (c) research that makes significant use of computers. The meeting is open to all economists, including those who are not currently members of the Society for Computational Economics.
Each participant may submit only one paper. Joint-authored papers should be submitted by the author who intends to present the paper. If multiple joint-authored papers are submitted for presentation, each must be presented by a different author. Because Conference Maker does not distinguish between regular and poster submissions, ALL submissions should indicate "REGULAR" or "POSTER" as the first word in the paper title field of the Conference Maker submission screen. The Program Committee will make a sincere effort to honor the format preference on all submissions but reserves the right to request a change to meet the needs of the program.
Decisions will be made based on a one page abstract submitted between December 1, 2007 and January 31, 2008 via Conference Maker (see Paper Submission on the Web site http://www.cepremap.cnrs.fr/cef2008). This abstract must detail the computational content of the paper.
Decisions on acceptance or rejection will be notified on March 15, 2008. Final papers should be made available by June 1, 2008.
