Springer Nature medical journals (Facharztzeitschriften)

Certain types of articles are excluded from the DEAL agreement in the approximately 70 Springer Nature specialist medical journals.

• Articles in Springer Nature medical journals (Facharztzeitschriften) will only be published Open Access under DEAL if they are not submitted by invitation (e.g. via a call for papers) and of the type "research article".
• Non-research articles in journals are excluded from the agreement (see list of Springer Nature journals).

The journals are marked in the title list (column I: Facharztzeitschriften).
