Teilnahmevoraussetzungen
General knowledge of the doctrines of Public International Law is required. The lecture is open for students of Transition Management, other Master’s programs and the SPC Global Health (FB 11).
Inhalte der Veranstaltung
The lecture provides a comprehensive overview of International Migration Law, an evolving branch of modern international law. It introduces core concepts such as nationality, territorial jurisdiction, and human rights. The lecture identifies specific regimes applicable to refugees, family migrants, and migrant workers. Special attention is paid to the multilayered structure composed of global, regional, and national laws.
