Inhalte der Veranstaltung

Historically important philosophical approaches to the justification of human rights are presented (Aristotelianism, Utilitarianism, contract theories). The human-dignity-approach is developed in detail. The catalogue of the codified human rights is analyzed of whether each particular right can be justified on that basis and what legal consequences follow from the philosophical considerations.
