Students will
-– master technical terminology from the field of human rights and other basic legal principles
–- gain a comprehensive overview of the most important philosophical approaches to human rights
–- be familiar with the concept of human dignity
–- understand the connection between human dignity and human rights
–- be familiar with the application of the human-dignity-approach to particular human rights
–- be able to distinguish between basic and non-basic human rights
–- understand particular basic legal principles and their relation to human rights
