Kyu Tae Lee is a Professor in the School of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Seoul National University, South Korea. He received his B.S. (2000) and Ph.D. (2006) in Chemical Engineering from Seoul National University, with a focus on electrochemistry. From 2007 to 2010, he conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Waterloo, working on lithium–sulfur and sodium-ion batteries. He began his independent academic career at UNIST in 2010 and joined Seoul National University in 2015. He has published more than 140 peer-reviewed papers and was recognized as a Highly Cited Researcher by Clarivate in 2018. His research focuses on electrochemistry and materials chemistry for lithium-ion and post-lithium-ion batteries.
