Young Entrepreneurs in Science Online-Workshop

You almost completed your PhD but you are unsure of what’s next? You enjoy academic work and „Outside-the-Box-Thinking“ but you ask yourself if your ideas and skills could also be useful for start-ups and companies? You are excited to sketch out business ideas with other motivated PhD candidates and Post-Docs?

The Initiative Young Entrepreneurs in Science offers a two-day Online-Workshop to connect with fellow PhD candidates and Post-Docs from a variety of disciplines and institutions. With the approach of interdisciplinary teamwork and practical methods and tools (such as “Design Thinking”) you will be able to learn about the ways in which ideas can develop into business models. Along the way, local business founders will share their own experiences and expertise and you will get the opportunity to pitch your owns ideas based on your research project.
