Live3R

The LIVE3R platform offers a portal for sharing information on specific animal models across various scientific fields. It provides the opportunity to document unwanted developments of a model (REPORT) and measures to prevent these developments (REFINE). Additionally, experiment-specific score sheets (RESCORE) can be included. The project aims to increase transparency in the use of laboratory animals, actively implement the 3R concept, and thus improve animal welfare in the long term.

Collaborations

The LIVE3R communication platform regularly exchanges information with the Critical Incident Reporting System – Laboratory Animal Science (CIRS-LAS) of the University Hospital Jena, which is used for reporting and analyzing unplanned events in laboratory animal research.
