Virtual Book Launch Masculinity In Transition, October 20 2023

On Friday, October 20, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. (CET), Greta Olson and Christopher Breu will join K. Allison Hammer for a virtual book launch to talk about their new book, "Masculinity In Transition". 
 
"Masculinity in Transition traces the roots of "toxic masculinity" and shows that while toxic masculinities are primarily associated with straight, white men, trans and queer masculinities also often repeat similar patterns of behavior. Arguing that these malignant forms of masculinity can be displaced, K. Allison Hammer's bold rethinking exposes the underlying fragility of normative masculinity."
 
K. Allison Hammer is Assistant Professor and Coordinator of Women, Gender and Sexual Studies at Southern Illinois University.

"Masculinity In Transition" is published through Minnesota University Press.
