Project: Introducing Electronic Signatures at JLU
Project phase 3 has started
Project phase 3 of introducing electronic signatures will focus on the next expansion step. Starting in February 2026, we will concentrate on selecting suitable pilot processes in the administration, clarifying framework conditions (financing/licensing model), and procurement. Starting mid-2026, preparations to roll this tool out for the central administration will also begin.
The expected benefits: By digitizing frequently needed signatures, we will save a significant amount of time and money. At the same time, media disruptions will be reduced, processes will become more transparent, and processing times will shorten
All steps will be documented so that best practices for the expanded rollout will be available at the end of the project phase. We will provide information about the course of the project and the next rollout stages on the project website.
