This lecture focuses on distinctive aspects of applying for jobs in English, a scenario you may encounter with any firm worldwide which operates internationally. It provides insights into navigating selected stages of that process, including building your curriculum vitae and cover letter and presenting yourself convincingly in the interview. We'll examine excerpts from example application materials and explore them for guidelines on how to optimize your own credentials for potential employers. Selected differences between British and American practices will also be addressed. The lecture will last about 90 minutes, and afterwards there will be time for a round of questions and answers. The lecture will be held in English by a native speaker.
