LabVIEW is a graphical LabVIEW logo programming system from National Instruments. The acronym stands for 'Laboratory Virtual Instrumentation Engineering Workbench'. The main areas of application for LabVIEW are measurement, control, and automation technology. Programming is carried out using a graphical programming language, called 'G', based on the data flow model. This special feature makes LabVIEW particularly suitable for data acquisition and processing.
