Study Buddy Programme

Flyer for the Study Buddy Programme"Study Buddies" are German students who are familiar with Giessen and the university's structures and will give international incoming students to the Department of English a helping hand during their first semester.

The Study Buddy Programme was launched by our office in 2008.

 

Participating in the Study Buddy Programme means mutual benefit:

  1. Our international incomings will be able to cut red tape and get valuable advice on everyday life in Giessen.
  2. Home students will come into contact with our internationals and get first-hand information on our partner universities.
  3. And of course, the programme helps to foster friendship and mutual understanding and aims to broaden the cultural horizon of all participants
