Who can subscribe?
All employees of the University of Giessen can purchase Endnote at a reduced price. Unfortunately, students are not eligible and are dependent on specialist retailers.
How much does a license cost?

How and where can I purchase a license?
To purchase a license, employees should contact the software dealer Asknet or the distributor Alfasoft. You will find the relevant information on this page.
Which product versions are available?
The current version is Endnote 21 (as of July 2023).
Which previous versions of Endnote qualify for an upgrade license?
As a rule, the two previous versions (Proof in the form of an invoice must be provided).
How long is a license valid?
The licenses are purchase licenses and are not limited in time.
For which operating systems is Endnote available?
Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X. You can find more detailed information here.
Are there different licenses for different operating systems?
No, there are no differences. The license is equally valid for the Windows and Mac version.
How and where can I obtain installation files?
You will receive this directly from the dealer upon purchase.
Can I install Endnote on multiple computers?
As a licensee, you can install Endnote on up to three devices. No one other than the licensee may use the software and only one instance may be running at any one time. The simultaneous execution of two or more Endnote installations with identical licenses is not permitted.
Are there public PC workstations of the HRZ with Endnote at JLU?
No.
