From graphs to geometric structures in GKM manifolds

Abstract: We will introduce special torus actions on manifolds with nice
properties, also known as GKM manifolds. To every GKM manifold one
attaches a graph which encodes many characteristics of the torus
manifold, like its equivariant cohomology. The main question for this
talk is how much does the graph determine the manifold and (invariant)
geometric structures on it. This is joint work with Oliver Goertsches
and Leopold Zoller.
