2023

I thought we learned from the Covid pandemic to organize a higher proportion of congresses digitally. However, academia has not learned anything better. Thus, I started to avoid conferences, for which I have to fly. This year, out of 17 conferences, unfortunately still 3 flights, which would otherwise take 2.5 days one way. It were very warm invitations I did not want to reject (but I will/should in future).
